Burglaries

May 19, the Nasturtium Cafe in South Kona reported unknown person(s) entered the establishment but did not remove any items.

May 23, a woman reported that while sunbathing at the Royal Kona Resort her purse containing cash, a room key and two credit cards was taken. Upon returning to her room, the woman noticed her room had been entered and her wallet containing a diver’s license and three additional credit cards was taken.

May 18, avocados were reported stolen in the area of 75-5200 Mamalahoa Highway in North Kona.

May 19, a Q-see video surveillance camera mounted on a wall was reported stolen from Kona Pacific Farmers Cooperative in South Kona.

May 19, a 23-year-old man reported stolen his backpack that he left at Reyes by the Sea in Kona. The backpack contained miscellaneous ID cards, a catheter and a .45 caliber “Witness” brand semi-automatic pistol.

May 22, a sledge hammer, hand pliers and an impact drill were reported from a construction site in the area of 75-5600 Kuakini Hwy. in North Kona.
